- Set up, program, and operate CNC vertical milling machines independently
- Create and edit programs using G-code and Mastercam
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure part quality and accuracy
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
- Maintain tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure production efficiency
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC milling machines, specifically vertical mills
- Proficiency in G-code programming
- Experienced with Mastercam software for part programming
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including P.C knowledge and current technology software familiarity
