Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Tech 2 with strong expertise in electrical and plumbing systems. This full-time role is responsible for performing general building maintenance and troubleshooting across multiple commercial properties in the North Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and customer-focused, with a strong ability to work independently while maintaining the high standards Lot Management is known for. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems (lighting, outlets, breakers, panels, etc.) Diagnose and repair commercial plumbing issues (fixtures, water heaters, drainage, piping, etc.)
- Complete work orders for general repairs, including drywall, painting, doors/hardware, minor HVAC, and more
- Collaborate with property managers and Lot Management teams to address service needs promptly
- Maintain accurate records of work performed using company systems or work order platforms
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company protocols
- Respond to occasional emergency maintenance requests during off-hours (rotating on-call schedule)
Requirements Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on commercial maintenance experience
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and commercial-grade plumbing
- Familiarity with commercial buildings, retail centers, and warehouse facilities
- Comfortable using hand and power tools, ladders, and basic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be self-directed and able to work independently across multiple sites
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
