Our network is free of the limitations of the past, and flexible to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of the changing world.Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesRF Engineer II, RAN sought by DISH Wireless, LLC in Plano, TX.Responsible for end to end RF design, propagation modeling and prediction and support of site deployment efforts. Responsible for the following duties: (i) establish design criteria, system dimensioning, link budget and traffic analysis as needed for network design; (ii) CW (Continuous Wave) Measurements Classification and Preparation - Reviewing CW measurements, CW antenna patterns, checking locations (pictures, Google Earth), confirming geodata for AOI (Area of Interest); (iii) Model Tuning in Planet - matching real drive test measurements with predicted results and optimizing Planet prediction tool; (iv) Project Preparation - review pre-qualified assets list, confirming antenna files, updating traffic maps, confirming in detail geodata for AOI (Area of Interest) that is being designed; (v) use ACP - Automatic Cell Planning - Tool to run multiple design scenarios; (vi) Optimization - Engineer will run multiple scenarios above and suggest the optimal design related to maximizing population and areas covered while minimizing number of assets used; (vii) validation of the results and design review preparation and presentation to EVPs; and (viii) design adjustments and On-Going Site Deployment Support.Skills, Experience And RequirementsRequires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronic or Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience as RF Engineer or related role. Also requires 5 years of work experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
