Overview

This position is responsible for supporting all warehouse functions including but limited to receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

Responsibilities

A Warehouse Worker is responsible for varied daily tasks such as restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, processing and packing orders, counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner.

• Dependable with excellent time management and documentation skills

• Ability to work in team environment with a great work ethic

• Ability to coordinate, organize and plan

• Receive equipment and materials that are delivered to the company by vendors, customers, and other external warehouses.

• Inspect incoming shipment for damage.

• After inspection and receipt of equipment, equipment to be put in its proper location in the warehouse.

• Properly and safely pick, pull, and load products for shipment.

• Drive vehicles (i.e., trucks, forklifts, and vans) for the purpose of transporting orders to designated sites.

• Utilize the appropriate safety equipment, maintain warehouse safety certifications, and attend safety training as required.

• Ensure the building grounds and warehouse are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.

• Examine incoming shipments for accuracy and evaluate damaged items.

• Taking photos of stored inventory and inventory as it is received.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Candidate must have a minimum of 6 months box truck experience.

• Candidate must be able to pass road test.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Must be able to lift up to at least 100 lbs.

• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures

• Pushing, pulling, stooping, lifting, and overhead reaching
