The Occupational Safety and Risk Manager position at the Tennessee Battery Plant in Stanton, Tennessee offers a unique opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from the ground up.

In this position:

The BlueOval SK Occupational Safety and Risk Manager is responsible for the performance and results of the Occupational Safety team. The role ensures the administration of plant-wide safety processes, emergency response planning, and compliance with regulatory requirements in a timely manner. The manager partners closely with Health & Safety leadership to address complex safety issues and collaborates with various departments. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, conducting investigations, inspections, and root cause analyses. The role requires expertise in interpreting and implementing corporate health and safety policies, safety regulations, and best practices. The manager analyzes safety trends and provides guidance to help prevent employee injuries and illnesses, as well as eliminate hazards in the work environment. This position has full management authority over staffing, performance, discipline, pay decisions, team development, and other personnel actions.
