Our customers rely on us for dependable outcomes and outstanding service.Position OverviewThe Regional Safety Manager will oversee the implementation and management of safety programs across multiple sites within the region. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, enhancing workplace safety culture, and minimizing risks associated with construction and fabrication activities.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across all regional sites to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Provide training and support to site personnel on safety practices and procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers to assess risks and develop safety plans for construction and fabrication projects.
- Monitor and report on safety performance metrics to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within the construction or fabrication industry.
- Certification as a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage safety initiatives across multiple sites.
