Job Summary SummaryResponsible for overseeing the daily operations of administrative functions within a hospital setting, ensuring efficient and effective management of office processes and staff. Provides strategic direction and leadership to administrative teams, optimizing workflows and enhancing operational performance to support hospital objectives.Does this position require Patient Care?NoEssential Functions-Manages and supervises administrative staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and workload distribution.-Oversees daily office operations, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures while maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency.-Develops and implements strategies to improve operational processes, streamline workflows, and enhance service delivery.-Monitors and analyzes key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.-Coordinates with other departments to ensure seamless integration of administrative functions with hospital operations.-Manages budgets and resources for the administrative department, ensuring cost-effective use of funds and materials.-Handles complex or escalated issues related to administrative operations, resolving problems in a timely and effective manner.-Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and industry best practices in all administrative activities.-Prepares and presents reports on operational performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree Business Administration required or Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Administration required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Experience in an administrative or management role, with a focus on operations 5-7 years required and Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting 2-3 years preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Strong leadership and team management abilities. - Excellent organizational and project management skills. - Proficiency in office management software and systems. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. - Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
