The Project & Facilities Management Department is actively recruiting for a professional Capital Improvement Project Manager III to oversee capital and maintenance projects. Responsibilities include coordinating major renovations, site selection, development, space studies, design, architectural services, and construction management for County-owned properties, infrastructure, and other capital projects.
This role involves managing large and complex projects, providing training, and acting as a team lead.

SALARY AND BENEFITSCompetitive salary up to $129,729.60 annually, with exceptional benefits. Salary increases include 3% annual across-the-board increases in February 2026, bi-annual step increases of 2.5% up to Step 14, and potential boost to $131,976.00 annually with the Modified Benefits Option (MBO).

About the DepartmentThe Project & Facilities Management Department manages over 250 facilities, serving key departments like Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, Fire District, Sheriff, and others. The team focuses on timely, cost-effective project delivery, quality improvements, and innovative solutions.
The Facilities Management team oversees operations, maintenance, landscaping, and custodial services across County facilities.
Conditions of EmploymentApplicants must have at least three years of project management experience and an associate degree in related fields; higher education or experience substitutions are outlined in the full description.
