SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
The Pool Monitor is responsible for all activities in and around the pool area. Also, will be working in conjunction with the recreation staff; making sure all children are safe at all times. The Pool Monitor must be swift and very observant while on duty.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool area, keep it safe and clean.
- Monitor must make sure everyone signs the sign-in sheets
- Monitor and make sure no one is in the pool under the age of (14)
- Report all problems to recreation supervisor.
- Monitor restrooms often.
- Clean pool area, pick any debris, clothing, or other items left behind
- Assist and work with other staff members for special events
- Work in recreation room when raining, assist with the game room activities.
- Enforce all facility rules.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate ability and knowledge to work with youth implementing property rules and guidelines.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
