Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Recon Service Manager so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions, and recommend appropriate repairs
- Perform all work as described on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- Communicate with Recon Service Manager regarding additional repairs and timeliness of repairs
- Communicate with the Recon Parts Department to obtain needed parts
- Complete manufacturer and dealership training
QualificationsMust have Experience with a automotive background.
- Strong teamwork skills
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
- Must have clean & valid driver's license
- Must maintain a clean and presentable workplace
- Ability to be on feet for long periods of time and safely lift heavy objects
- Hands-on experience working with vehicles
- Must have own tools (we provide workstations to hold the tools)
