The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is seeking a Seasonal In-Room Dining Captain to join our team!

Located in Dana Point, adjacent to Laguna Beach, known for its surf culture, laid-back vibe, and active lifestyle.

The resort spans 175 acres atop a seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 sq ft of meeting space, and 8 F&B outlets including restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining.

Shift: Various, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: $17.25/hour, based on experience and location.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise service delivery, ensuring guest satisfaction and order rotation among servers.
• Set up trays and tables for incoming orders.
• Retrieve checks, set tables, and deliver food and beverages to guest rooms and meeting rooms.
• Serve meals, respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Present checks, process payments, and handle signed checks.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Perform order-taking duties and answer room service calls as needed.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with regulations.
