This individual will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical services on vehicles, diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership - familiarizing yourself with the service department & procedures
- Assist service advisor in test driving vehicles, and testing components and systems - you will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Requirements:
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ford technician training
- Strong teamwork skills
- Interest in and passion for the automotive industry
- Eagerness to work hard with a positive attitude
