Job Details- Mental Health Coordinator position to plan and provide clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility.
- Perform all functions at a pace and level consistent with job performance requirements.
Job Requirements- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews with inmates.
- Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning level.
- Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records for each person seen.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques through treatments and activities used for individuals in caseload.
- Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address inmate needs.
