Mount Pleasant, PA. We specialize in innovative solutions for the electrical utilities and power delivery industry. As we expand our operations, we seek a dynamic and experienced professional to drive our initiatives to improve the production process in our manufacturing facility in Mount Pleasant, PA. In this role, you will ensure products are manufactured efficiently and on time, leveraging your expertise in SAP and production planning. How You'll Make an Impact: - Create and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, demand forecasts, and inventory levels.
- Monitor raw material levels and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely materials delivery.
- Assign tasks to production teams, manage workforce scheduling, and optimize equipment utilization.
- Track production costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and minimize waste and inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with quality inspectors to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify and address production issues promptly, including equipment malfunctions and delays.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Your Background: - Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations/manufacturing, process engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in production planning or master scheduling.
- Ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency with production planning software, ERP systems such as SAP S4 Hana, and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with high-voltage switchgear products such as capacitors.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous process improvement.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
