The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for administering physical therapy treatment interventions guided by a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician. Physical Therapist Assistant participates with a Physical Therapist in developing treatment programs for therapy patients. Position Summary Expanded: Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act,?( The Unity Bill ) this position is considered a Safety-sensitive position. Safety-sensitive is defined to include any job that includes tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others. Employees working in safety-sensitive roles are subject to this exception and subject to disciplinary action in the event of a positive test for marijuana or its metabolites. Requirements Education and/or Experience

• Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant school.
• Two (2) years pervious experience as Physical Therapist in a hospital setting.
• Previous hospital experience preferred

Licensure/Certification

• Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistance in the state of Oklahoma.
• Current BCLS certification.
