Travel Study Associate DirectorUniversity of California Los AngelesRequisition Number: 33597Salary: $4,842 - $9,591 monthlyPosition Description:As Associate Director of Travel Study, provide direct management for planning and implementation of Travel Study programs for the International Education Office (IEO). Analyze existing budgetary and accounting practices, mechanisms, and analytical tools. Work with the Director, Deans, Department Chairs, faculty, campus partners and outside vendors to manage the development and administration of new and existing Travel Study programs; analyze program needs; manage program logistics; and develop program budgets. Ensure the negotiation of program contracts meet compliance with UCLA Purchasing, Accounting and Insurance and Risk Management guidelines. Manage program and student emergencies and develop risk management reports for campus leadership. Analyze across a broad range of academic and administrative issues related to the development of new programs and the daily management of existing ones. Manage the flow of information and resources internally to ensure effective and efficient delivery of Travel Study program content and services to students, including program information, payment processing, enrollment, registration, database entry, travel arrangements, etc. Develop, interpret, and implement student policies and procedures related to academic advising, financial aid, and crisis management. Develop guidelines for students and faculty dealing with health, safety, and emergency procedures for Travel Study activities. Develop student orientations and workshops as well as risk management training sessions for faculty and teaching assistants. Plan and oversee the coordination of marketing campaigns specifically focused on Travel Study. Fiscal responsibility for $4-5M.
