Employer: DP World Tech US LLCPosition: Industrial Engineer (Job Code: 8701)Duties: Responsible for providing leadership and support to continuous improvement initiatives at the plantlevel; perform work studies to analyze work systems; develop standards, allowances and/orimprovements to existing systems; provide input for the development of functional layouts thatmaximize space, material transit, and distance, and provide flexibility for expansion; use simulationsoftware to analyze and/or improve work systems; assess ergonomic factors in work systems, andprovide solutions/design factions to minimize Receptive Motion Injuries (RMI) and accommodate thefunctional range of workers; develop and implement lean engineering tools; review work methods,work station designs and document process methods; conduct analysis and make recommendations toimprove labor utilization, material flow and capacity planning; perform process simulation, projectmanagement and methods analysis; use and analyze lean standards in everyday assignments includingLine Balancing, PFEP, Value Stream Maps, Engineering Studies, and Resource Requirement Sheets;utilize root cause analysis, PFMEA, MS Access, Minitab, Design of Experiments, Gage R&R,AutoCAD, Value Stream Mapping, inventory optimization, capacity planning & analysis, processflows, and MS Visio to perform duties; provide input for the development process of FMEAs andcontrol plans for existing and potential work systems; research, justify, and recommend the purchaseof capital expenditures; provide support as necessary for STD Work, 5s, TPM, JIT, and MistakeProofing, and update layouts using auto CAD LT; regularly maintain and update our bill of materialsand review engineering change orders; run changes, model year changes, and update BPMs asnecessary; provide input on the development and/or revision of various policies or standardoperational procedures; and assist in new business launches at both customer and Company plants inarea of expertise.Location: 22305 Old Oleander Ave, Perris, CA 92570;Salary: $121,716 per year;Minimum Qualifications:Education: Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, IndustrialEngineering, Information Technology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreigndegree);Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Plant Engineer, as a Production Engineer, as aQuality Engineer, as a Supply Chain Engineer, or in a related occupation;Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years' use of all the following: root causeanalysis, PFMEA, MS Access, Minitab, Design of Experiments, Gage R&R, AutoCAD, ValueStream Mapping, inventory optimization, capacity planning & analysis, process flows, and MSVisio.Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.Employer Contact:Colleen Ryan, Sr. HR Generalist - CorporateDP World Tech US LLC2851 High Meadow Circle, Suite 250Auburn Hills, MI 48326Submit resumes to DP World's website at: dpworld.com/careers and reference above Job CodeCompensationDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
