  • Develops and executes a vision for enterprise applications in alignment with the overall company strategic plan.

  • Maintains awareness of ERP trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to support business growth.
ERP & ENTERPRISE SYSTEM LEADERSHIPERP System Management: Leads the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of ERP and other Enterprise systems to ensure they meet business requirements and operate efficiently.
  • Part of the Steering Committee overseeing the migration to a new ERP implementation including system governance, change management, and issue resolution processes.
  • Leads ERP projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and post go-live support
  • Manage the maintenance and support of the company's legacy applications while working with functional leaders to modernize our applications for the future.
  • Collaborates with functional leaders to understand business requirements and translate them into system functionality.
  • Manages system integrations between ERP and other enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure system stability and compliance with relevant regulations and security standards.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Creates and maintains a knowledge base for internal IT (team and service desk) and end-user usage.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures, including data security and privacy.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drives process improvement, system optimization, and automation initiatives by staying current with IT trends and best practices.
TEAM LEADERSHIPManage and mentor a team of IT business application professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Leads and develops a team of 3–4 ERP and application specialists.
  • Recruits, retains, and mentors talent within the Applications team.
  • Creates a collaborative and accountable culture focused on delivering results and business value.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts to business users.
  • Comfortable working in a family-owned, mid-sized enterprise environment.

  • Trusted advisor who can influence stakeholders and manage vendor relationships.
DIRECT REPORTING POSITIONS
  • 1 Sr. Applications Analyst
  • 1 ERP Application Analyst
  • 1 Application Support Manager
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
  • BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience supporting analytics reporting. Business Intelligence (BI) platforms are a plus.
  • Familiarity with EDI, WMS, and MES systems is beneficial.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (CPG preferred), including both operational support and implementation leadership.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Extensive experience with NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of business processes in finance, supply chain, and manufacturing.
  • Experience managing system integrations and third-party vendor relationships.
