Job DescriptionThe Director of Telemedicine is a visible and engaged leader, working in collaboration with operational leaders, Marketing, Business Development, Finance, and Information Technology to develop and oversee the implementation of a system-level roadmap for delivering local and regional Telehealth services that are user-friendly and market-leading. The Director is responsible for working closely with other health system leaders, physicians, and operational and technical teams to direct state-of-the-art Telehealth solutions and programs for patients in all stages of care. The Director will have a will have a deep understanding of clinical workflows in inpatient, outpatient, post-acute, and home-based environments, as well as technology trends and digital / Telehealth needs of patients, families, clinicians, healthcare organizations, and employers. The Director develops, accelerates and continually improves Telehealth services across the continuum of care while building buy-in and support from executive stakeholders and leading change management efforts to transform digital healthcare for patients and families. The Director serves to evangelize digital and Telehealth strategy to internal and external stakeholders, translating how Telehealth can improve clinical and cost outcomes and patient and clinician experience and builds mutually positive relationships with operational leaders, key physicians, payers, and community and state leaders to influence Telehealth legislation, reimbursement, and service expansion within the Valley Health service area and both nationally and internationally.
