Job DescriptionECS is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to work in our Washington, DC office.Salary Range: $70,000-80,000BenefitsGeneral Description of BenefitsECS is looking for a Purchasing Specialist to conduct procurement transactions as directed by a Postal Supply Management Specialist and Team Lead.Responsibilities Include

• Contract funding actions
• Contract close-outs
• Administrative contract modifications
• Unused funds decommitments
• Period of Performance extensions
• Contracting Officer's Representative changes
• Communication with Internal Business Partners and suppliers

Required Skills

• Must have a relevant college degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Procurement)
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, Supply Management, Account Management, Sales, Information Technology, Law, or other related fields.
• Must have strong communication skills (both written and oral)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
