Job DescriptionAssists the Mortgage Retail Regional Manager in leading and managing Mortgage Loan Originators to meet production goals, operational excellence, growth, and profitability of the region. Maintains a personal pipeline of retail mortgage loans. Recruits, interviews, and trains top talent, while proactively retaining current employees and managing performance. Participates in local and state mortgage banking, realtor, and builder trade associations, maintaining a thorough understanding of mortgage industry knowledge and current issues. Communicates business goals, objectives, and company performance results to staff. Promotes an effective sales environment through sales training, coaching, and marketing material creation. Acts as a liaison between U.S. Bank Home Mortgage and other departments, establishing collaborative partnerships within the bank.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including background and credit checks. Failure to meet registration requirements may result in employment rescission or termination.
This role is open to candidates with at least one year of mortgage, sales, real estate, or banking experience. The successful candidate will be hired at the level that matches their experience.
This position is posted as remote; however, candidates near any U.S. Bank location are expected to work on-site at least three days a week. The role also requires two or more hours of driving per week.
Basic QualificationsExperience in team building and coaching, with proven results in mortgage loan origination, is also preferred.

The salary range for this role is $66,640 - $78,400 - $86,240, based on location and experience. We also offer incentive and recognition programs, stock purchase plans, and pension options.
