To assist pharmacist in providing professional pharmacy services to the patients and staff of Cook Children's Medical Center and the community we serve. Operation and maintenance of the pharmacy inventory control, automation, pharmacy VFC inventory compliance, and technology trouble shooting, database management, automation training, and purchasing function. Support distributive pharmacy operations as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
Pharmacy technician experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience with computer applications and pharmacy automation and technology preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for gathering, reporting and analyzing data.
Pharmacy Technician certification. Texas Pharmacy Technician License.
