They are proudly building America's future, with $13.5B in active backlog and ambitious growth goals to reach $12B in revenue by 2032.With their Mission Critical Division headquartered in Herndon, VA and a nationwide presence, my client specializes in complex, ground-up builds, including cutting-edge data centers, life sciences, healthcare, commercial, and higher education projects.Job DescriptionAs Superintendent, you will play a critical leadership role on the ground, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and trade coordination are flawlessly executed. This is a high-performance team, and you'll be part of a project with national visibility.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day field operations for large-scale ground-up data center construction
  • Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, materials, and safety on-site
  • Enforce project compliance with safety, quality, and procedural standards
  • Maintain strong relationships with trade partners, clients, and internal project teams
  • Communicate regularly with Project Managers and senior leadership
  • Ensure milestones are met with a focus on safety and operational excellence

  • Proven Leadership: Candidates must have successfully led field operations on large-scale commercial or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Data Center Experience: Senior-level candidates must have experience managing data center projects valued at $250M or more.
  • Strong MEP Background: For mid-level candidates without data center experience, strong experience in MEP-heavy projects such as hospitals or life sciences is required.
  • General Contractor Background: Candidates must come from a general contracting background.
  • Willingness to Travel: This is a travel role for a project based in Iowa, with an 18-24 month duration. Candidates must be available to be onsite by early July.
