Perfect Building Maintenance is seeking a Security Guard/Concierge for a high-end commercial building in Midtown West. The Security Guard is responsible for protecting the property and clients from criminal activity and trespassing.

Note: THIS IS A STANDING POST. UNION BENEFITS.

The ideal candidate will have FLSD Certification, strong communication skills, excellent observational skills, and surveillance experience, preferably in law enforcement. The candidate should remain calm under pressure, patient, and detail-oriented.

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 8AM-4PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Standing and walking for long periods, including climbing stairs and inclines
• Following instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
• Maintaining a professional, corporate appearance
• Keeping composure in unusual circumstances
• Writing logs and reports
• Providing high-quality customer service
• Communicating clearly to observe, report incidents, and direct others
• Controlling access to the site, screening visitors, and expediting entry
• Monitoring entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access
• Preparing logs and reports as required
• Reporting incidents or suspicious activity to relevant authorities
• Providing courteous and respectful service to tenants and visitors

Pay Rate: $30/hour
