Job Location : San Diego,CA, USA
Translate 2D design documents and specifications into 3D models, incorporating 4D (time and sequencing) and 5D (cost and budget) project elements.
Lead the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans for structural engineering projects.
Manage and oversee BIM processes, including 3D modeling, 4D project scheduling, and whole building life cycle assessment (WBLCA).
Utilize BIM to extract material and construction quantities for internal cost estimation and provide real-time budget insights to guide design decisions.
Conduct clash detection and model coordination to resolve interdisciplinary design conflicts.
Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of BIM tools and strategies throughout all project phases.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Revit, clash detection tools, and structural modeling. Experience with 4D construction scheduling and 5D cost estimation is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of structural engineering concepts, building systems, and BIM project coordination.
