Aspire is seeking a full-time Manager of Med Surg within our Med Surg department in Marlette, MI. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to providing high-quality patient care.
RequirementsThe manager organizes, directs, and ensures effective operations of the nursing unit, considering the effects of their decisions on the 24-hour operation of the unit. This individual will select and/or orient new staff, provide corrective actions, and evaluate employees. They use independent judgment in problem-solving, take necessary actions to resolve issues, and organize workflow. The nurse manager maintains clinical competency and participates in direct patient care on an episodic basis to assist during high census, as a staff resource, or in emergencies.
