Overview: Horizon Farm Credit is recruiting for an Ag Relationship Manager to join our lending team. The qualified candidate may work in either the Mount Joy, PA or Shoemakersville, PA branch location to service Western Berk and Southern Lebanon counties. The hours of operation are typically Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after 6 months of successful employment. In this position, you will serve as a confident financial professional through the delivery of sound credit and financial services within regulations and policies. You will formulate business development strategies, develop customer relationships, and actively manage an assigned portfolio. You will promote related services by participating in public relations activities and create a favorable Farm Credit image in the community. You will also assist the regional team and Association in meeting its goals through effective teamwork, cooperation, and communication.
Responsibilities include:
Developing new business by actively pursuing new individual and business customers and becoming a visible and involved member of the community. Expanding existing relationships by researching customer needs and matching bank products and services accordingly.Interviewing applicants, analyzing, and reconciling complete, accurate credit and financial data, including complete applications under the guidelines of differential analysis.Determining credit risk and making timely, accurate decisions. Establishing and renegotiating credit terms as necessary.Communicating credit decisions to loan applicants within required timeframes. Originating single entity loans within delegated authority.Servicing loans in a portfolio to maintain high loan quality. Reviewing loan progress periodically and making calls on customers to evaluate management, inspect collateral, and identify potential financial issues or opportunities for additional lending.Guiding customers seeking financial solutions.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- Generally, four to twelve years of related experience in sales, commercial lending, the agriculture industry, or financially related fields.
- Proficient interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of agricultural lending and related financial products and selling skills.
- Ability to manage loans and customer relationships within the assigned portfolio under supervision.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to employ diplomacy and tact.
- Knowledge of local market and competition, with the ability to develop effective market strategies.
- Ability to travel as required and maintain reliable attendance.

- Competitive salary range: $75,000 - $115,000, depending on experience.
