Job Title: Technical Team Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Technical Team Lead (ServiceNow) should have knowledge of ITIL and ITSM best practices and ServiceNow development principles. The role involves ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.

As a Technical Lead, you will guide a team of talented software engineers in building cloud-based products using Lean/Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and mentoring software engineers
  • Conducting performance reviews
  • Ensuring good code quality practices such as pair programming and code reviews
  • Creating and maintaining coding standards
  • Providing architectural guidance and oversight to scrum teams
  • Transitioning enterprise-wide services from legacy solutions to cloud-based solutions
  • Understanding the technical limitations of ServiceNow

Required Skills & Experience:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, plus 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • Experience with WSDL, SOAP, JSON, RESTful services, and Web Service frameworks
  • Expertise in building enterprise web applications using microservices, BackEnds for FrontEnds, and Event-Driven Architecture
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow SDLC, SCRUM, and Release Management modules
  • Experience with ServiceNow Team Development, Update Sets, and Design Studio

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • ITIL v3 certification
  • ServiceNow SysAdmin Certificate
  • ServiceNow Coding Certificate
  • ServiceNow Implementation Certification
  • Experience with cloud-based enterprise service management, especially ServiceNow
  • Leading technical implementations in large enterprise settings
  • Translating business requirements into technical cloud solutions
  • Providing technical leadership for modernization projects
  • End-user and stakeholder engagement, communication, and training
  • Experience with Perspectium, Numerify, and other ServiceNow integration suites
  • Experience with Automated Testing using ServiceNow frameworks
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Studio, Store, and Share programs
