Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Engineer / Geotechnical Design EngineerLocation: Wadsworth, OHDuration: Direct PlacementHours: 8am-5pm

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer / Geotechnical Design Engineer with a Geotechnical or Geo-Structural background to work in our Ohio office.

In this position, you will work with a dynamic team of engineers to develop best value solutions that routinely include complex underpinning, deep foundation, earth retention systems, slope stabilization, landslide repair, and ground improvement. Being the largest geotechnical construction company in North America, we can combine multiple techniques on projects to provide the best value solution to our customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing engineering support to the estimating department in bid preparation.
• Preparation of detailed design drawings for construction.
• Providing engineering support to the project managers during the construction process.

Qualified candidates should have:

• A Master's degree / PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, Geotechnics, or Geo-Structural Engineering; a bachelor's degree will also be considered.
• 8-15+ years of geotechnical and/or geostructural engineering experience, preferably in the design of ground improvement.
• Experience in geotechnical construction design-build projects.
• Experience in geotechnical seismic design.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and good communication skills.
• The candidate will be a licensed professional engineer.
• Proficiency in Excel, Mathcad, and a working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Bonus software skills: CT-Shoring, DeepEx, LPile, Settle 3D, Group, GeoStudio, and Plaxis.
