Associate Director, Paid Search

Progressive digital media agency in NYC is seeking an Associate Director to join their growing team! We are looking for someone with focused experience in SEM who is passionate about the emerging media landscape, with proven client management skills. This role requires an experienced team leader eager to join a fast-paced digital agency and contribute to the agency's rapid growth. The position involves working across various high-profile national and global accounts, supporting account teams in implementing digital media schedules across paid search, including Google and Bing campaigns. The ideal candidate is confident in driving improvements in account performance and in managing and developing junior employees' professional growth. The position is hybrid, with 3 days in the office of your choice each week (flexible week to week).

Responsibilities include:

Driving overall account strategy, forecasting, and planning

Serving as the executive contact for top agency accounts

Managing and training the paid search team, with growth responsibilities

Focusing on professional development through feedback, reviews, and regular 1-on-1s

Participating in onboarding, renewal calls, and key client communications

Minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years of agency paid search advertising experience
• Experience optimizing accounts using backend KPIs and CRM data
• Strong data analytics and strategic skills
• Leadership experience, including hiring and firing responsibilities
• Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting to executive teams
• Excellent interpersonal skills and eagerness to work in a fast-growing team
