As a Transportation Manager, you will manage Dyno Nobel Transportation Inc. terminal(s), shop, and activities of site employees. Responsible for serving all internal/external customers in a professional, safe, and efficient manner.

What You'll Do
As the Transportation Manager, you will manage Dyno Nobel Transportation Inc (DNTI) terminal(s), shop, and activities of site employees. You will be responsible for serving all internal/external customers in a professional, safe, and efficient manner consistent with Dyno Nobel Americas (DNA) and DNTI's mission, vision, and values. Other duties include:
- Uphold site financial reporting including budget and monthly reconciliations.
- Generally, work in an office environment with visits to customer delivery locations and DNTI Terminal locations as required.
- Operate and manage DNTI terminal(s).
- Maintain professional and effective leadership, conflict resolution among drivers, customers, and management.
- Direct daily assignments of drivers and truck fleet, including dispatch, route and equipment usage planning, and fuel management.
- Maintain maintenance records and vehicle inspection reports per Department of Transportation requirements.
- Act as company liaison for customers to promote and sell DNTI services.
- Responsible for hiring, termination, and performance decisions regarding personnel.
- Ensure compliance and train employees on DOT, FMCSR, MSHA regulations, and company safety practices and policies.
- Must be on call 24/7 to respond to emergency situations and make decisions accordingly.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience with proven skills.
- 5+ years' experience in trucking/logistics industry.
- 5+ years supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Hazardous Materials, DOT, MSHA, and OSHA regulations.
- Class A CDL with valid Medical Card, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Experience with transportation software programs (TMW, RoadNet, Mcloud, or Manugistics).
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team-oriented mindset.
