Job Summary:

Responsible for identifying customer needs and driving the vision, execution, and business objectives of a technical product.

Job Location: Remote

Main Responsibilities:

  • Works with other Technology areas to make tactical decisions about product functionality.
  • Manages projects that consist of a single development team.
  • Propose and manage demand for application work.
  • Manages projects through all phases and milestones.
  • Manages product feature/capability set for business solutions.
  • Performs market and competitor analysis.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience: 10 years relevant experience.

Education: Must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college).
  • Associate's degree in a Technical Field.
  • Certification in relevant focus area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Partners with senior leadership to draft multi-year strategic growth plans.
  • Drives annual revenues by improving user experiences, resulting in lead conversion for insurance.
  • Builds and drives roadmaps and designs new features and enhancements.
  • Defines and executes product strategy.
  • Makes recommendations on long-term operating decisions regarding product development and distribution strategies.

Accountability/Complexity:

  • Implements strategic goals.
  • Typically responsible for managing large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-functional teams.
  • Frequently responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across the company within area of expertise.
  • May direct the work of other individual contributors and/or act as a cross-functional lead.
