Job Description
The IT Security Manager will have the unique opportunity to craft a global security program from the ground up for a $5B distributor. The Security Manager will oversee enterprise network security controls and processes that support risk management, operational controls, and governance processes. In addition:
- Research, recommend, and develop strategies to mitigate risks in areas such as business continuity planning, loss prevention, privacy, fraud prevention, and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal management to define security and compliance policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Disseminate written policies and procedures, ensuring specific details regarding security plans and policies are documented, tested, and communicated.
- Implement and manage approved plans, policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Implement new programs to continually ensure or improve the effectiveness of IT risk management and protection strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a security role with a global company
