Patient Food Services Manager - Ocean Springs, MS
Join us as a Patient Food Services Manager at Compass One Healthcare in Ocean Springs, MS. We are seeking a dedicated leader to oversee our patient food services team in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish goals and oversee the implementation of patient food services based on medical directives and patient needs.Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop team members.Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and meet patient preferences within diet order guidelines.Contribute to achieving patient satisfaction goals.Adhere to regulatory standards including federal, state, and accreditation requirements, while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.Participate in or lead patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and quality improvement programs.Qualifications:
- Associate degree with one year of experience in food services or related field, or a bachelor's degree in food service management or related field.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician, or Registered Dietitian.
- At least one year of management experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- ServSafe certification is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and diet management systems is required.
