The role

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be supporting the project team and Project Manager in preparation, delivery and managing nearshore site investigation projects from tender award to final delivery. The successful applicant will be supporting site managers during the delivery phase of the project as well as supervision of the Nearshore drill's teams and engineers on a variety of exciting projects both in the UK and abroad. You will be supporting the Project Team in the delivery of Marine site investigations from jack-up platforms in the office and on site in which you will spend 4-6 weeks at a time. Supporting regular project reports including progress programme, costs, profit and forecasts showing actual financial performance. Assisting in the co-ordination of all technical matters via the onboard supervisor and technical staff, including fulfilling the communication role with remote support services through the project life cycle.

Who we're looking for:
  • Someone who is looking to begin their career within the Marine / Nearshore site investigation sector and looking for career development opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree or HND Level or Equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD software.
  • Ability and desire to work on site for 4-6 weeks at a time.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a high-pressured environment.
