Job Summary

Responsible for managing post-closing aspects of the commercial mortgage loan portfolio for CorAmerica's clients, including portfolio reporting, loan surveillance, servicing and tracking of asset class performance; all in compliance with team, company, and industry standards

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop appropriate strategies and oversee the infrastructure to provide excellent portfolio management, servicing and reporting of clients' CML portfolios
  • Develop, maintain and generate reporting for CorAmerica and its clients per internal procedures and clients' investment management agreements
  • Oversee ongoing surveillance and re-underwriting of clients' CML portfolios that fully comply with requirements and deadlines
  • Analyze CML servicing requests and provide clear, concise and consistent recommendations on those actions
  • Develop and maintain key CML metrics that validate performance of the asset class and measure relative value contributions
  • Coordinate the various internal and external audit requests, including generation of required work product
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with CorAmerica's clients, Rockport, KeyBank, various FHLB's, and other key vendors
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field required
  • Three to five years of life company lending or related real estate lending or servicing experience
  • Both general and front-line knowledge of real estate finance, investments, law, and economics
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Argus and general business software applications
  • Ability to work independently, or within a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal skills

Compensation

The base salary for this position falls within Nassau's salary band D: $93,000-$103,000 depending upon experience.
