Position Purpose

In this role, you will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting Group, assisting in managing the department's day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

Review and file staff-prepared quarterly and annual NAIC filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with internal partners and external auditors for legal entity external audits.

Approve staff journal entries to the general ledger.

Participate in state DOI exams and respond to analyst questions.

Mentor staff and support their skill development.

Participate in statutory training sessions.

Assist with department projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, other spreadsheet applications, and accounting software.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams or supervisory experience including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Statutory Reporting experience (strongly preferred).
• Healthcare experience (strongly preferred).

Additional Information

Pay Range: $86,000 - $154,700 per year.
