Job Description:
We have partnered with an established, global manufacturer of critical care equipment. They are looking for a Sales Representative to sell their equipment service contracts in the MidWest Region. Market segments include: interventional cardiology, anesthesiology, critical care, cardiovascular, and general surgery. You must have the personality and skill set for sales, be tech-savvy, and able to simplify complex solutions into effective and impactful sales presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sales of product service contracts by aligning products to customer workflow & technical requirements, conducting product demos, creating quotes, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with a team of capital equipment sales reps, clinical applications reps, and Field Service Techs during the sales process to determine customer needs and position solutions effectively.
- Manage the entire sales cycle with the goal of achieving or surpassing sales quotas.
- Provide account support as per the strategic plan for each account, working with other internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA is a plus.
- At least 3 years of sales experience in medical service sales; clinical sales or applications experience with hospital capital equipment is a plus.
- Strong computer skills including Excel, DMI quote system, CRM software, PowerPoint, etc.
- Consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into solutions, clearly presenting clinical and business benefits.
