We're in a dynamic phase of growth, striving to be Fun, Interactive, Relevant, and Experiential (F.I.R.E.). Exciting times are ahead as we plan national and local celebrations for the American railroads' 200th anniversary in 2027. We're also undertaking a major campus renovation, developing an innovative workforce development program utilizing our 40-acre campus as a learning space, and expanding our educational initiatives, particularly for children with special needs.
Join Our Team as a Grants Manager!SummaryThe Development Manager for Grants and Stewardship plays a pivotal role in securing and managing funding from federal, state, local, and private sources to support the Museum's expanding portfolio of programs and initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented, mission-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This is an exciting time to join the Museum. With a world-class collection, an engaged board, and a dedicated team, we are in a period of dynamic growth. Current initiatives include the nationwide celebration of the 200th Anniversary of American Railroading in 2027, expansion of educational programs (including for children with special needs), and an innovative workforce development program on our 40-acre campus. CompensationPay:Compensation is commensurate with experience, but the expected salary for this position is$50,000-65,000 annually.
