Join Our Team as a Residential Registered Nurse (RN)! Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people in our residential program? We're seeking a dedicated Residential RN who is passionate about providing compassionate nursing care and enhancing the well-being of the people we support. As a Residential RN, you'll play a vital role in coordinating and managing healthcare services while fostering independence and ensuring optimum health outcomes for those we support. What You'll Do: As a Residential RN, you'll assess, coordinate, and manage healthcare services tailored to individual needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and individual service plans. You'll collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to the development and review of Individual Program Plans (ISPs) to support personalized care. Your responsibilities will include nursing assessment, direct nursing services, and clinical supervision of LPNs and direct support staff. Additionally, you'll coordinate medical care, appointments, and medication administration, acting as a liaison with healthcare providers and ensuring informed consent for medical procedures. Qualifications We're Looking For:
  • Licensed RN: Currently registered by the New York State Education Department.
  • Experience: Preferably two years in acute or long-term care settings; experience working with people who have developmental disabilities is desirable. However, we are willing to train new graduates!
  • Skills: Excellent assessment and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and participate in nursing on-call schedules.
