Position: General Manager

Immediate Supervisor: Area Supervisor

Position Summary: This position is the highest management role at the drive-in, responsible for leading and managing operations and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, coach, and terminate staff.
  • Manage employee compensation and benefits.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure excellent guest experience.
  • Handle opening and closing duties.
  • Address guest and employee concerns appropriately.
  • Manage inventory, food, labor, and costs to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Lead team meetings and ensure operational standards.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports.
  • Develop local marketing strategies.
  • Ensure maintenance and safety standards are met.
  • Supervise vendor relationships and compliance with laws and policies.
  • Additional Duties:

    • Perform station duties as needed.
    • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
    • Move and handle food products up to 50 pounds.
    • Perform other duties as required.

    Work Schedule: Minimum 50 hours/week; includes nights, weekends, holidays.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma required; advanced studies preferred.
    • At least three years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
    • Experience managing shifts independently and hiring staff.
    • Knowledge of labor laws, health and safety regulations.
    • Basic computer and math skills; effective communication; problem-solving abilities.

    Work Environment: Standing, bending, lifting, exposure to heat, cold, and variable weather conditions.
