Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: NP/PA - Neonatology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Syracuse, NY • Service Setting: Inpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: May 28, 2025 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Shift Schedule: 12 & 24 hr shifts • Patient Volume: 8-9 • Admissions: 0-2 • Physician in Practice: 3 • Support Staff: 6 + 1 per diem Pediatric APPs • Procedures: - Ventilation Management, Invasive (ETT) - Non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP), Chest Tube Insertion - Exchange Transfusions, UAC/UVC placement, LPs - Evaluation & Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues - Insertion of Central & Arterial Line - Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps • Beds in the Dept: 16 (NICU) • NICU Level: III • EMR: Epic • Other Info: - Required to Attend C-Sections - Required to Cover the Level I (Well-Baby) Nursery - Will supervise other health care providers such as RNs in the NICU and other ancillary staff as needed - Must have experience and be comfortable managing patients independently • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active NY License • BC • Must have experienced in NICU
