JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist), Certified Anesthesia Assistants (AP) • Specialty: Anesthesia • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia • Service Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery Centers • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: March 1, 2025 June 30, 2025 • Clinical Shift Schedule: Flexible shifts (8s, 10s, 12s) • On-Call Shift Schedule: Call shifts required; varied/mix of hours PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults and Pediatric Patients • Patient Volume/Census: TBD • Admissions: Yes • Case Mix: Bariatrics, ENT, General Surgery, Gynecology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Robotic Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Urologic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, OB, Cath Lab/EP, Plastic Surgery, Endoscopy Surgery FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: TBD • Trauma Level: TBD • EMR System: Cerner • Specialty Backup Available: Multiple Surgical Specialties • Support Staff Available: CRNAs, Certified Anesthesia Assistants, and MD Supervision (4 CRNAs to 1 MD) • Reason for Coverage: Temporary Supplemental Coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: TBD COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Not covered for Call shifts REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures • Operate and monitor anesthesia-related medical equipment • Preoperative and postoperative patient evaluation JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active Georgia Medical License • Certifications: AHA-approved ACLS, BLS, and PALS • Experience: Minimum 2 years as a CRNA or Anesthesia Assistant • Other Qualifications: • Must adhere to a 20-minute response time for Call shifts • Compliance with hospital policies and procedures DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Deliver high-quality anesthesia care in both inpatient and outpatient surgical settings • Collaborate with supervising physicians and support staff • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system (Cerner) • Provide preoperative and postoperative evaluations • Participate in the call schedule as required
