Summary:

The Shop Foreman [Diagnostic Technician] will lead diagnostic efforts, support technician development, and ensure high-quality vehicle repairs that align with factory standards. With a focus on safety, collaboration, and precision, you'll serve as the go-to resource for diagnostics and workflow coordination.

  • Diagnose vehicle issues prior to technician assignment; assist team members with complex diagnostics.
  • Complete repairs efficiently and accurately based on repair orders and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Workshop Manager and service advisors to prioritize workflow and communicate updates.
  • Perform inspections and road tests; identify and recommend additional service work as needed.
  • Document all work using Truvideo/Estimate tools and stay current with technical bulletins and training.

We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of automotive experience; degree/certification preferred
  • Strong automotive diagnostic knowledge across core systems
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Team-oriented mindset with leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with good time management
  • Able to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
