About the job Forklift Operator Monday- Friday 9am-5:30pm Position: Forklift Operator Company: IWS Group Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent IWS Group, a leading logistics and supply chain management company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials within our warehouse and distribution centers. Key Responsibilities: - Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse and distribution centers - Safely and accurately stack and store products in designated areas - Inspect forklifts and other equipment regularly and report any maintenance or safety issues - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others - Use handheld scanners and other technology to track and record inventory movements - Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid forklift certification - Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting - Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time - Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception - Familiarity with handheld scanners and other warehouse technology - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.
