The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are hiring a Technical Field Service Manager to lead, mentor, and develop our large truck-based Union field team. Your role will involve proactive engagement with market, industry, and technology trends, ensuring optimized service delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining licensing, training, and accreditation standards
  • Supporting financial management of the mobile service group
  • Providing operational reporting and analysis
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Handling escalated client issues
  • Collaborating with project management teams
  • Communicating policies and ensuring compliance
  • Driving field safety initiatives
  • Developing field strategies for efficiency and change management
  • Maintaining high-quality, efficient, and profitable service delivery
  • Managing a team of up to 80 technicians
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
  • 10+ years HVAC field experience
  • 5+ years supervisory experience in a support environment (preferred)
  • Service-oriented mindset
  • Experience managing union personnel (preferred)
  • Mechanical service experience, especially HVAC and Plumbing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SharePoint (preferred)

The pay range for this role is $75,870 - $128,900 annually, with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Salary offers depend on experience and skills, and market location.
