Greater Austin Area | Full-Time | Hybrid (3 days WFH, 2 days on-site)

We're seeking a seasoned engineering leader to head up a growing Water/Wastewater division serving key municipal clients across Central Texas. This is a high-impact, hybrid executive role reporting directly to the COO, offering the opportunity to lead strategic projects, grow a dynamic team, and directly influence infrastructure development in the region.

Compensation: $155,000+ (commensurate with experience)

Relocation Assistance: Yes

Start Date: Immediate Hire

What You'll Do

• Lead Strategic Initiatives: Set and execute vision for the W/WW division aligned with company goals.
• Deliver Complex Projects: Oversee planning and execution of water treatment plants, wastewater facilities, pump stations, and more.
• Engage Key Clients: Act as a trusted advisor to municipal agencies and public utilities.
• Mentor Teams: Build and guide high-performing project teams and support staff.
• Ensure Excellence: Uphold quality, compliance, and technical rigor across all projects.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Active Texas PE License
• Proven leadership managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Strong client-facing skills and experience with municipal stakeholders
• Track record delivering scope, schedule, and budget on water/wastewater projects
• Deep expertise in treatment plants, pipelines, tunnels, and infrastructure
• Project resume ready for submission

Nice to Have

• Experience working with City of Austin or similar municipalities
• Prior VP or Director-level title
• Experience in firms with 35–50 employees
• Familiarity with Texas municipal regulations and standards
• Advanced degree or additional certifications
