The General Manager is a polished, well-spoken ambassador responsible for all aspects of hotel operations. Key responsibilities include providing leadership to the management team, ensuring financial performance, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring compliance with regulations and brand standards.

Responsibilities include establishing operational priorities, leading sales and budget initiatives, overseeing physical property improvements, and serving as the main communication link between guests, staff, ownership, and vendors. The role requires direct supervision of at least two full-time associates, with duties involving significant discretion and independent judgment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive hotel or related industry experience, or a combination of education and experience as specified.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, stress management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent guest and employee service, maintain attendance, appearance, and adherence to company standards.
  • Lead sales efforts, conduct regular meetings, and monitor financial performance.
  • Develop managers, ensure compliance with policies, and oversee training and employee development.
  • Maintain property standards, manage financial forecasting, and participate in hiring and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on guest satisfaction.
