Our client in El Cajon is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Generate and send out invoices to clients - Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts. - Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. - Process and apply payments received from clients. - Prepare and maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions. - Communicate with clients to resolve billing issues and answer any questions regarding invoices. - Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to ensure accurate billing and resolve any discrepancies. - Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts receivable. - Prepare reports on accounts receivable status and provide insights to management. - Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. - Bachelor's Degree - Accounts receivable experience working for a construction company - 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable - Be able to generate invoices manually through Excel - Strong Excel skills (able to do VLookups and Pivot Tables)
