Safety Manager
Consigli Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, coordinate, and assess hospital accident, fire prevention, and occupational safety and health programs.
- Develop and recommend new safety procedures based on incident reports and data analysis.
- Conduct accident and incident investigations, determine causes, and suggest corrective actions.
- Create safety committees or boards and oversee safety audits and inspections.
- Provide employees with safety self-audit tools and promote safety awareness.
- Maintain accurate records of safety audits and inspections.
- Communicate effectively on workplace safety issues and foster a safety-conscious culture.
Qualifications
- Degree in Safety or related field with CHST or CSP certification.
- Minimum OSHA 500 trainer certification in Construction Safety Standards.
- First aid certification from Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Experience with Injury & Incident Free safety culture and web-based safety auditing programs.
- Proficiency in computer applications, spreadsheets, and safety analysis.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical skills, including Root Cause Analysis experience.
